PACIFIC COUNTY

We invite you to explore "Nature's Best" - Pacific County.  Nestled in the southwest corner of Washington State, Pacific County is a scenic land of ocean, rivers, and bay, lush forest and streams, with isolated beaches and always opulent, magnificent skies.  For over a century, Pacific County has been lauded for its rich harvest of oysters, clams and salmon.  

But for all of its treasure, nothing exceeds its natural beauty.

North/Cove Tokeland

North Cove and Tokeland are quaint fishing seaside communities.  Enjoy the day and sunset at the historic and always changing Wash-Away Beach.   If you are looking to experience fishing and crabbing, go to the Tokeland dock!  This area is the home of the Shoalwater Bay Tribe, experience the Native American culture.   Wildlife abundance bay side on along the shore.  

Menlo/Lebam/Frances

Drive through the quaint farming communities nestled in the rolling Willapa Hills.  See one of the many dairy farms gracing the valley.  Keep your eyes open for the elk and deer and even a pheasant or two.   Visit the historic Willie Keil's grave along                 Highway 6.  

Bay Center

Travel through the historic fishing village and home of huge oyster beds in Bay Center.  As you drive down Highway 101 you will see the site of the oldest settlement in the County located at Bruceport.  Drive into the pull off and enjoy the magnificent view of Willapa Bay.  A drive to remember!

 

Naselle

This Finnish heritage farming community offers the Naselle State Salmon Hatchery, Finnish Festival, fishing, hiking and much more.

Chinook

Chinook is home of Fort Columbia Historical State Park featuring restored classic military architecture.  Walk the trails of Lewis & Clark.  Visit the historic St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Stay in one of the camp grounds, enjoy fishing, and boating.
