The face of Neptune (we
think) surrounded by sirens and mermaids make this one of
the most unusual in the collection. This five well plate is

We call this fan shaped
design a snail plate. the back mark logo is Wilhelm &
Graee of New York although we are not certain of the
spelling on the last name. Paintings of catfish, crab,
flatfish, turtle and carp are in each of the five wells. The

A beautiful delicate
French five well plate by Tressemanes &Voit. We have
called this the star center design. This rather small plate

This Limoges oyster
plate by Theodore Haviland does not have the classic wells
but rather the oysters remain spaced by the decoration. The

A deep square oyster
dish with an assortment of mollusks: five oysters, two
mussels and a clam. The plate is 7.6 inches (19.5 cm) from
side to side. The backmark is B S M (we think). Click on
