On April 1, 1996 the Board of Pacific County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 146 establishing a rural addressing system. |

HOW TO FIND OUT YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS
| Existing Buildings: | Contact the Public Works Department, have the name of the legal owner and/or the legal description. |
| New Development: | Contact the Public Works Department, have the name of the legal owner and/or the legal description of the property. A $20.00 fee will be assessed for new development. |

ONCE YOU KNOW YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS
| Contact the telephone company (1-800-533-9281 for residential and 1-800-533-5034 for business) and update your physical address. This must be accomplished to help prepare for the county's enhanced 911 service. |
| Post the physical address of the property in accordance with Section 2.3 "Display of Building Number" defined in Ordinance No. 146. |
| If you have a renter at this property, it is your legal obligation to inform them of the physical address. |
| If you have mail delivery at the addressed property you need to perform the appropriate change of address as postal or other delivery service would require. |
