On April 1, 1996 the Board of Pacific County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 146 establishing a rural addressing system.

HOW TO FIND OUT YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS

Existing Buildings: Contact the Public Works Department, have the name of the legal owner and/or the legal description.
New Development: Contact the Public Works Department, have the name of the legal owner and/or the legal description of the property.  A $20.00 fee will be assessed for new development.

ONCE YOU KNOW YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS

Contact the telephone company (1-800-533-9281 for residential and 1-800-533-5034 for business) and update your physical address.  This must be accomplished to help prepare for the county's enhanced 911 service.
Post the physical address of the property in accordance with Section 2.3 "Display of Building Number" defined in Ordinance No. 146.
If you have a renter at this property, it is your legal obligation to inform them of the physical address.
If you have mail delivery at the addressed property you need to perform the appropriate change of address as postal or other delivery service would require.
