Counselor Training -

Pacific County 4-H is holding Camp in Pacific County. We are going to need counselors. Counselors work with the camp director and play an active role in the outcome of camp. Counselors must have completed the eighth grade by the end of this current school year and be enrolled in Pacific County 4-H by 1 May. This is you! Please participate in 4-H Camp Counselor Training!

This interesting two-day session will cover leadership topics and prepare you to be a Camp Counselor. We will be spending the night at Camp Morehead on the Long Beach Peninsula.  There is no cost for this counselor training, however, should you register to attend and not show up without notifying us, you will be charged a $20 fee. The things you will need to bring are listed in this mailing. If you have questions please call Jackie or myself in the Extension Office. We will be happy to answer any question you may have.

Attending this training does not commit you to being a camp counselor nor does it guarantee you will be selected to be a camp counselor

If you have a special need in order to participate in counselor training please contact Jackie or myself in the Extension Office before 4 June. We will help make arrangements for you.

The registration form and all other forms must be in by June 4, 2002.

 Looking forward to your involvement!

ADULT CAMPERS

The Pacific County 4-H Youth Development Program is dedicated to providing a safe environment for all children, volunteers and staff in its programs.  All adults at camp are required to enroll as 4-H volunteers and to have a Washington State Patrol check on file at the Extension office.  This is an important part of providing the required safety and liability insurance coverage.  Anyone who is not enrolled in Pacific County 4-H will receive an enrollment packet and be required to return the packet to: WSU/Pacific County Cooperative Extension, P.O. Box 88, South Bend, WA 98586 before going to camp.  If it is not returned before camp, entry will be denied.
