Preparing to Recycle

Aluminum Cans:  Rinse and dry Motor Oil:  Clean oil only. 
No solvents, water, antifreeze, or other  fluids. Other oils should be brought to Pacific County's Moderate Risk Waste/ Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Cardboard:  Flatten.
Waxed cardboard not accepted.

Newspaper:  Place loosely into paper sacks.  May include newspaper inserts.
Glass:  Bottles and jars only. 
Rinse and remove caps. Do not break.  There is no need to remove labels.
PET Plastic:  Bottles and jars only.  Look for #1 inside a triangle on the bottom of the container.  Remove lid, rinse, and flatten
HDPE Plastic:  Bottles and jars only.  Look for #2 inside a triangle on the bottom of the container.  Remove lid, rinse, and flatten.
NO MOTOR OIL CONTAINERS.
