As administrators of Pacific County, the Board of Commissioners is responsible for appointing members to various county boards and commissions. These boards and commissions are responsible for acting on behalf of the county, in an advisory capacity, to the Board of Commissioners. They may conduct hearings, take testimony and public comment regarding issues before them and submit recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for action and/or policy setting. All of the meetings are open to the public and all persons will be permitted to attend any meeting except as otherwise provided under RCW 42.30-Executive Sessions.

It is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners to advertise
positions available on these various boards and commissions in the
local newspapers. The Board also invites members whose term may be expiring to seek reappointment. Those interested in seeking appointment
