Use any brand of the cheapest cooking oil for cleaning in shop and kitchen, for removing automotive grease, chewing gum from children's hair, labels, and fresh paint from hands, and paint-brushes. (If you can cook with it, the oil isn't a strong chemical to which you'll easily become allergic.) It is the oil in peanut butter and mayonnaise, which takes the gum out of a child's hair, so why not just use that? After the oil does its job, finish the cleanup with soap and water.
Milk in any form, fresh, canned, powdered and mixed, fat-free or not, will remove ballpoint pen ink from clothing.
