If you are emailing
a technical support question to the webmaster,
please include the following information:
- A brief description of the problem in the subject line of the
email message.
- Your name and what part of the county you are dialing from.
- Your phone number to contact you should the problem be something
more difficult or not appropriate for an email response.
If you are contacting technical support (via email or by phone),
please have the following information ready:
- Error Message - Normally if there is a problem, the program
having the problem will give you a specific error message. Please
write this message down, exactly as it appears on the screen.
- Hardware Info - Usually, the brand of modem, the operating system
used, and the application that is giving the error is enough information
to solve the problem, however, the more information the better.
If you do not know the brand of hardware, be prepared to call
your vendor to get that information. Sometimes, there are specific
problems with specific hardware that already has a fix available.
