Setting SMTP Authentication in Eudora 5.x - Windows

The following configuration instructions will help you configure Eudora to allow SMTP Authentication.

To begin, open your Eudora email program.

At the top of the screen, click Tools and scroll down to Options...

 

At the bottom of the Options window, click in the Allow authentication box to put a checkmark in it.

 

Depending on your version of Eudora, the Allow authentication checkbox might also be located under the Sending Mail menu. 

Click OK on all screens to save your changes.
