Windows 3.1.x Setup Information

1. Turn on your computer and make sure Windows in running.

2. Insert the CD you received from Pacific County P.U.D. INTERNET into the drive.

3. From the File menu, choose Run.

4. Type “X:\START.EXE” (Change “X” to the drive letter for your CD-ROM). Press “OK”.

5. Click on the Install button.

6. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the Internet Setup window.

7. Click on the "Next" bottom at the bottom of the System Info window.

8. After carefully reading the Terms and conditions, click once on the "I Accept" button.

9. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02a Setup window.

10. Click the "OK" button to install the program to: c:\IEXPLORE.

11. Click on the "Complete" button.

12. Click on the "Continue" button to add Internet Explorer icons to the "Microsoft Internet Explorer" program group.

13. Click on the "Next" button at the bottom of the Install New Modem window to have Windows detect your modem. Note: if your modem is found you will continue on to the next screen. However, if it is not found then click the "Back" button and choose "Don't detect my modem" and select the proper modem from the list<..
