Setting SMTP Authentication in Outlook Express - Macintosh

The following configuration instructions will help you configure Outlook Express to allow SMTP Authentication.

To begin, open your Outlook Express email program.

Click on Tools at the top of the screen and select Accounts 

Click on the account you wish to change - select Edit

 

Click on the box titled Click here for advanced sending options at the bottom of panel

 

 

Check the SMTP server requires authentication box

 

Click OK on all screens to save your changes.
